Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-06-10. This Policy explains how RetentiaLingua, a CloudFran product, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service.

1. Information we collect

• Account & organization: name, email, organization name, role, and password (stored only as a salted hash).
• Learner & learning data: learners you add, their practice attempts, scores, review state, coach actions, and progress.
• Billing: subscription plan and status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us; we receive limited billing metadata.
• Usage & device: log data such as pages accessed and timestamps, used to operate and secure the Service.
• Cookies: a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

To provide and improve the Service; personalize the learning and retention experience; process subscriptions; provide support; maintain security; and comply with law.

3. How we share information

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), AI providers used to generate language/story content, and cloud hosting — bound to process data on our behalf.
• CloudFran Loyalty (optional): if your organization enrolls, we share limited account and payment event data to award points. You may opt out.
• Legal: where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• We do not sell personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, subject to legal requirements.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), salted password hashing, and access controls. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

6. Your choices and rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete account information, and opt out of the optional Loyalty program, by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

7. Children

The Service is intended for workforce and organizational use and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use it to collect data from children without appropriate consent and safeguards.

8. International

We may process data in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
